Biography: Caden was the only child born to Griffin and Katherine Thomas, who ran a successful print shop in their hometown of Hoboken, New Jersey. The small family lived comfortably and happily in their community, and Caden grew up with the same group of friends his whole life, though from a young age, Caden and his parents knew that was something a little different about him. It was during a tumultuous eighth grade year that Caden finally came to realize and understand that his sexual orientation was not that shared by his friends. It was a secret he carried all through high school, with mounting guilt at not confiding in his very best friends or parents and terror that his confession would cause everyone he loved and cared about to turn against him. Though he was a rather good-looking teenager, his lack of interest in dating was dismissed with ideas that his focus lay in baseball as he led his high school team to the state championships three years in a row as their starting pitcher, and the band he and his friends had decided to put together one lazy late-summer afternoon just before their junior year started. When he graduated high school, Caden faced the biggest decision of his life: his love for baseball and a college scholarship or his love for music and a record contract. After a week of indecision, he finally chose to stick with the band. He was only 18, after all, he had plenty of time for school if the band fell through. With their first album out and a tour on the horizon, Caden, who saw no other choice, finally came out to his friends, who accepted him without fail, even joking they'd known longer than he had. Despite a slow start, the band begin to gain notoriety in the indie scene, but it was their third record that catapulted them to mainstream success. They have remained prominent ever since, and are set to release their fifth full-length studio record this year.

Personality: Caden has always prided himself on being a very nice person, so much so that sometimes, he does allow others to walk all over him. But he also knows when to take a stand for himself. He is extremely loyal, and is not afraid to jump into the mix when it comes to defending his friends or family. He is not very hard to get to know, but it takes some time to gain his trust, as there are parts of his life, including his homosexuality, that he refuses to open up about to just anybody. He tends to ramble, especially when excited, and will use his hands to talk in those instances. He also has a bad habit of sticking his foot in his mouth. Because of these habits, despite the success of his band, he has remained completely grounded. The second he starts to show ego, he will do something embarrassing (always accidentally) and remember that he is far too awkward to ever be arrogant.

Loves: Harry Potter, baseball (the Yankees are his favorite team), Guitar Hero battle royales, cereal (his must-haves on tour are Honeycomb and Lucky Charms), homemade chocolate chip cookies, fresh laundry, laughing, thunder storms, sushi, Bojangles restaurants, House, Alton Brown, the original CSI, and the old-school Sega Genesis (he can play Pitfall for days).

Does not love: The Mets, arrogant, closed-minded, incompetent, or ignorant people, bad hair days, being teased for his height (or lack thereof...), liars, soup, being sick.
