About Me

Hello, my name is Andrew Essary and I am the webmaster for this site.  If you'd like to know a little more about me, please read on. If not, feel free to skip on ahead to the good stuff. By the way; I'm shy, so if I don't reveal the info here, I probably won't reveal it at all. (Though it doesn't hurt to ask.)

Personal Info:

After years of living in the beautiful countryside of rural Missouri I have moved back to the city where I was born and raised. Yes, folks, that means BROADBAND! Glorious, blazing-fast, 15 mbps cable broadband. I’m giddy.

I enjoy keeping pets and I have one dog and one cat. As some of you may have noticed from the news page, my birthday is June 27.

I am a full-time college student at Drury University, where I am currently a Senior. I take school very seriously and have made the Dean's List or President's List every semester so far. I have finally earned my Associate of the Arts Degree ("2-year" degree) in English, graduating cum laude. Now that I have earned an Associate’s I am working on two Bachelor's Degrees (traditional "4-year" degrees); one in English and one in Writing. I continued my academic standards, finishing the semester with a perfect 4.0 GPA and am now on course to graduate Magna Cum Laude.

Hobbies:

Obviously, I like reading comics, and playing roleplaying games since both are almost necessary to run this website. I prefer Marvel Comics to DC, but I'll read just about any comics I can get my hands on.

In addition to comics, I also love reading books. The Harry Potter series (by J.K. Rowling) is one of my favorite things to read. I also enjoy the works of Stephen King, Orson Scott Card, and various works by other authors.

I enjoy writing, and I work on various projects in my spare time. I am currently working on numerous short-stories and some novel-length fiction, but I have also started some screenplays and a script for a graphic novel.

Finally, I like to apply my variety of skills, talents, and interests into running this website. It's a time-consuming and difficult process to create materials for this site, but it's truly a labor of love (I just wish I'd get a "Thank You" every now and again).
