Welcome to Harmonia, the website of the Winter 2007 - 2008 LAS 199: Global Studies Singapore group. The purpose of this website is to educate people on the topics of multiculturalism. To do this, the concept of multiculturalism will be clearly defined and visitors will become acclimated with its importance and relevance to them, the United States, and Singapore. Another aim of this website is to propose a plan to elevate multiculturalism in the United States in order to promote globalization and diversity, starting with the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.

With fresh insight on international perspectives, we are delighted to present this website as a culmination of our experiences and knowledge we have gained as a result of studying abroad.
