It's funny to note that beyond my Bad Girls fic, none of my pairings are canon, or, at the time of writing, ever had a chance of getting together. Grissom and Sara were probably the only two who had a real chance, though it only seemed like a 'shipper's wishful thinking when I wrote these GSR fics. I sort of lost interest in the characters in season five and six; I felt the carrot had been dangled in front of me by the CSI writers too long. Ironically enough, the characters got together right at the end of season six and have continued to be in a relationship of some sort (to say it's on the backburner would be a generous placement of geography). And yet, that spark for me has never been re-lit. However, I do look on these fics fondly.
