Biography: Grayson Levi Staley was born twenty-five years ago on February 12th - the product of a brief relationship between a young Barbara Weiss; a virtually unknown model and Layne Staley; a drug addict and frontman of Alice in Chains. Shortly after the birth of their son, the couple split, and it was decided that it would be best for Grayson if his mother received sole custody. Barbara tried her best to make sure that life for her son was as normal as it could be, growing up. It wasn't until he was ten years old that he met his father for the first time that he can actually remember. Layne was never father of the year material, but the six years that he and Grayson spent before Layne's death shaped that man he is today, and the man he will become. The 'Staley Curse' lives on.
