In Sweet Loving Memory of Jardy

Our precious little boo girl.
Sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She brought happiness and smiles to the lives she touched, and she touched many.

03/96---04/05/2005

A Loved One is not gone, until they are forgotten ......And to Live in the Hearts of those left behind ...... is to Live Forever.....

"I'll Lend you, for a little while, a bird of mine, He said.
For you to love while he lives, and mourn when he is dead.
It may be 6 or 7 years, maybe twenty-three,
But will you, untill I call him back, take care of him for me?
He will bring you his charms to gladden you, and shall his stay be brief,
You will have his lovely memories as solace for your grief.
I cannot promise he will stay, as all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught down there that I want this bird to learn.
I've looked the whole world over for my search for teachers true,
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes, I have selected you.
Now will you give him all your love-not think this labor vain,
Nor hate me when I come to call, to take him back again.
I fancied that I heard them say, 'Dear Lord, thy will be done.'
For all the joy this bird shall bring, the risk of grief we'll run.
We'll shower him with tenderness, and love him while we may
And for the happiness we've known, forever-grateful stay.
And should the angels call for him much sooner than we planned.
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes, and try to understand."

This set of audio wave files are my most favorite, they are a bit longer.
They are of when Jardie was just a baby, jabbering, cooing like a baby,
and just learning to form words and make sounds.
Remember those days with your baby bird, they are the most precious ones, aren't they.
Jardy was about 6 months old, and just beginning to discover she had a voice!

I call these files her squawk talk files.
Squawk 1 is Jardie as a baby trying to appease her surrogate mother
by learning how to say Your a Good Boy.
However, I found out 5 years later she was/is a Girl!
oops! This is when I decided to change the spelling of her name
from Jardy to Jardie!

Jardy finally says it!: Your a Good Boy.

Squawk 2 is Jardie when she was a baby squealing and cooing with delight. She is learning she has vocal cords!

Phone Ringing:

This wav is the beginning of the whistling theme from The Andy Griffith Show.
She picked this up on her own, one weekend when,
there happened to be an Andy Griffith Marathon on TV that weekend!
This is a raw version..LOL
By the end of the weekend, She had it down pat.
I have a better file, just have to find it.

Jardy is a little bit older on these wav files below.
I will say this For The record.
Looking back at my experiences with teaching Jardy to talk...
The most crucial stages seemed to be between the ages of 6 months and 1 year old.
That is when she seemed to be the most receptive.
She was willing and wanting to learn
and when she did, She delighted in the ability to please her Mother..(Me)!

Jardy says: What Cha Want...I say.. I want to give you food!

Jardy says: Good Boy.

Jardy says: Hello..Pretty girl..Hello.. Pretty Birdie!

Jardy says: Hey Jardy...Hey Jardy...Jardy...Mary

Jardy says: Hey Jardy...then pronounces my name a different way, other than from above.

Jardy says: Jardy...then whistles.

Below are some Wav files of My Greater Jardine, Hannah.
Tragically, a Year later while I was mourning the death of Jardy's
one year anniversary
My Dear Sweet Hannah, flew out of my arms.. never to be seen again.
I can't begin to tell you of the Hurt I still feel over the Loss of my 2 precious girls.
They were my life.
This is the first time I have been Fidless in 12 years,
and It hurts so deeply.
Treasure your Fids every day...as you never really know..
that day may be your last chance.

Some files of Hannah talking are below.

Hannah says: Hi Hannah

Hannah makes a kiss sound

Hannah makes a cricket sound.

Hannah Playing:
