A sentence is usually made up of adjectives, nouns, verbs and particles. These
four are the main ones, but as you progress you will get to see others as well
An example:
In English, we have "Cats(noun) like(verb) to eat(verb) fresh(adj) fish(noun)
And in Chinese,
Traditional: 貓愛吃新鮮的魚
Simplified: 猫爱吃新鲜的鱼
máo->noun
ài->verb
chī->verb
xīn-xiān->adjective
de->particle
yú->noun
In most cases, you need to use a particle in between when using adjectives with
nouns. Look over the sentences in the various pages below and take note of the
various structures.
