Screen name: mallory adroit Biography: Mallory was born and raised in upstate New York, the older of two children born to a reasonably wealthy family. Her father was a doctor and her mother an interior decorator. Both children attended private schools, and tended to spend much of their time in the company of each other and a varied stream of babysitters while their parents worked long hours. Mallory grew to be independent and staunch in her beliefs, sometimes to the point of being unyielding. Although never quite sure what she wanted for a career, she started acting in her teens on the Nickelodeon show Are You Afraid Of The Dark? She found the work fun and liked the idea that she could shape the path of her career by choosing different roles. A passing fancy soon turned into a dedicated interest, and Mallory kept on her career path. Though she didn't always select the best written or highest grossing movies, she tried to only go out for parts that she found either interesting or challenging in some way. She has a history of trying to keep her personal life separate from her public life, and has been known to get into verbal spats with the paparazzi when they pry into her past. Although she never quite envisioned herself as the family type, Mallory found herself in a relationship that she rather enjoyed with a fellow actor.
