So, a couple of things here.
A request for £20 is being asked for the N/H site and the MJ site, each, per month. Let’s set aside the MJ.net site and look at the N/H site. While it was still under studentwebhosting, there were THREE other sites under that same server. Were those sites also asked to put in £20 a month (adding up to a mind-boggling £80/month for the server)? Or was the £20 collected through donations covering the costs of ALL sites under SWH?
The same question of course applies to the AwardSpace sites. There are THREE sites currently under one IP address. (And for the record, while I can’t pinpoint updates for most of the sites, the Horse and Carriage site, as well as the Shania Twain site have been updated in the last month, so they ARE active accounts.) I don’t see a PayPal button on the Shania site, so who's paying for it? Again, unless the Shania site and the Horse/Carriage site are also being asked to put in £10 per month (which I believe was the quoted cost of SL.net), where is the money for THOSE sites coming from?
I guess my point is, you might want to ask yourself, when money is donated, what exactly is it you’re paying for?
Oh, and you might want to add, is money from this spreadshirt venture is going back into the sites?
