Tournament Details:

We held our last night  tournament for  the year this past Friday on Cherokee Lake.  Turnout was good with 16 boats competing in what turned out to be a cool and windy night. Fishing was tough except for the top boats as shown with results above. Congratulations to Daryl Woodruff & Terry Adams for an outstanding catch of 13.13 pounds for the night. James Collins had big fish of the night, a largemouth weighing 4.55 pounds.  It was caught on a jig.

 

Hope to see everyone at our next tournament on Douglas on Oct. 24th , safe light – 4 pm, launching from Dandridge.  It should provide some good fishing and it is always a well attended tournament.  Make plans now with your partner to come fish with us.

Voting for 2010 Out-Of-Town Lake will be placed through email and a results page will be placed on the clubs webpage (See Below).  Please email your name and lake choice to eastmanbassclub@live.com.  Please include your name and lake choice in both subject and body of email.   Voting will be held through November 2nd, this will allow our new officers to have this information earlier with hopes of getting a new schedule together early this year. This will allow everyone to view results of the voting on this webpage.

Club Officer Nominations for 2010

And finally, it is the time of year when the club needs to elect new officers for the 2010 season. Nominations can be sent to any club officer or directly to me and will be accepted through Friday, October 19th. Voting will be the following two weeks ending on November 2nd. Please confirm person nominated are willing to serve. Please consider helping in 2010.
