Biography: Milo Weston was the only son of the failed marriage of Maria and Ethan Weston. A New York City firefighter and housewife, the pair were good Catholics who tried to stick it out until Milo was five, and finally called it quits after Ethan’s drinking problem turned into more of an issue than Maria was willing to deal with, or leave Milo to deal with. Picking herself and her son up, Maria moved to LA with dreams of being a big time actress or singer. Like one can imagine, she failed. However she did manage to remarry to a loving man who helped put Milo through school and later send him to study drama at NYU.
The first year of college went smoothly for Milo, and he began to attract attention as a skilled stage actor. However, his attempts to reconnect with his father proved to have a negative affect. His father committed suicide half way into his second year, and Milo did what was probably the last thing his father would have wanted- he picked up a bottle of gin. Alcoholism already ran in the Weston’s blood, and it wouldn’t be until Milo was in his final year of college and failing his acting classes that he would finally find the willpower to put the bottle down. While not a full fledged alcoholic, it was close enough for Milo never to drink again.
He slowly began to repair family ties, and finally became honest with himself, and his then girl friend about his bisexuality. She left him on the spot. Working steadily in film and tv (and by steadily, one means he didn't starve to death and he had a shitty apartment), Milo didn't have his big break until 2006 with the film "Ella Enchanted" where his work as Char made him a heart throb for the preteen and teen circuit.
